While everyone has their favorite Starbucks drink, most people also have their favorite seasonal drinks lined up and ready to go each year when they’re released. The reigning champ of seasonal Starbucks drinks is of course the Pumpkin Spice Latte, with Peppermint Mocha coming in at a very close second.

Still, that doesn’t mean that there can’t be a new drink on the block. While it will be hard for the ever-loved PSL to be knocked off its throne, these new Starbucks drinks are coming in strong.

The coffee giant announced the release of two new drinks: the Pistachio Latte and the Honey Almond Milk Cold Brew. So how are they?

Pistachio lovers can rejoice that they now have a beverage to satisfy their nutty-needs. The Pistachio Latte balances salty and sweet and is described by the company as having “sweet flavors of pistachio and salted brown buttery topping.”

Together the salt and sweet leave a delicious aftertaste that is slightly reminiscent of butterscotch. While it is sweet, it is not as sweet as some of the other Starbucks drinks out there. The Pistachio Latte is available in both hot and iced forms, so you can customize it as you wish.

So what about the Honey Almond Milk Cold Brew? While the Pistachio Latte is delicious, it is certainly still a treat, while the Honey Almond Milk Cold Brew is definitely more suitable as an everyday coffee choice, as the flavor is still coffee-focused.

Cold Brew is really having a moment, and Starbucks is not shying away from the trend. While there are a bunch of cold brew options already available, this one is a great dairy-free selection. It’s only lightly sweetened, perfect for those who are not a fan of saccharine sweet drinks.

While it’s not as indulgent as the Pistachio Latte, the Honey Almond Milk Cold Brew is slightly sweet and comforting. This option is great for those with sensitive stomachs and prefer a dairy-free option.

One caveat is that these drinks are still part of the seasonal lineup during the winter, so they won’t be available year-round. The two new drinks join the Earth Cake Pops and Red Velvet Loaf as part of the winter treats. So what are you waiting for? Head to your local Starbucks now.
