Bobby Flay is officially continuing on with the Food Network after some initial reports questioning whether or not he will be remaining on the channel or not. A report in Variety had brought up the point that Flay was having some issues with coming to financial terms with a new contract.

Despite this report, it has been reported that Flay has now signed a three year contract with the network. He shared: “I’m thrilled to extend my relationship with Food Network and Discovery.”
Flay continued: “Although these talks to renew took a little longer than expected, the important thing is that both sides are happy that we can now build on an already rock-solid foundation. Stay tuned for some incredibly exciting new shows as I promise to take food and cooking to places we’ve never imagined before.”
Flay’s last contract is up at the end of 2021 and it was rumored that he was looking to resign for about $100 million.
Original reports said that Flay would be leaving Food Network after spending three decades on the network. The shakiness of his renegotiations led people to question what he would do next.

He has also appeared as a guest judge on shows like Iron Chef America, Chopped, and Worst Cooks in America. His most recent show The Flay List features his daughter Sophie.
Flay is one of the most recognized stars of the food industry and he even became the first celebrity chef to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 2015. He has recently appeared in a new Discovery+ series alongside Giada De Laurentiis on a show called Bobby and Giada in Italy.
