Pastry chef Amaury Guichon’s creations are absolutely extraordinary: he has devised an impressive technique of creating chocolate and pastries in all kinds of shapes that look incredibly realistic. His creations have completely taken over social media, where he posts videos that show his creative process. Often, his works look so realistic, it’s hard to believe they’re actually made of chocolate.
One of the reasons why his Amaury’s posts are so popular is because you get to see exactly how he creates this stunning edible works of art. Perhaps this is his way of proving that he is actually making these things from scratch and completely out of edible items.
Another thing that’s so interesting is that he has even created custom-made tools including molds that help him create the unique and specific shapes that he needs to make his incredible creations.
For example, we can see that he has created a stunning Connect 4 game set, completely out of chocolate and cookies. He uses a high-precision machine to cut out the circles so that they are perfectly uniform in order to make the classic blue grid.
Once the grid has been made, he turns his attention to the game pieces, which feature a delicious cookie center.
Guichon shared more details about the creation on his Instagram page: “This very playful creation is composed with a yellow cookie (lemon ganache and vanilla lemon sable with a thin shell of crunchy white chocolate) and a red cookie (raspberry ganache, vanilla crunchy sable and a thin white chocolate shell). The grid is made out of white chocolate colored in blue and is fully functional.”
His social media pages are full of examples of these amazing creations, including a chocolate harp, chocolate shark, chocolate luxury purse, a chocolate engagement ring, the Statue of Liberty, and so many more.
You can truly spend hours watching the videos he posts while creating these magnificent works and incredible photos of the final products.
